Love God

Sometimes I read the Bible and get nothing out of it. But today at BSF, this verse caught my attention.

Matthew 22:37-39

37 Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38This is the first and greatest commandment.
39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

It says the greatest commandment is to love God first. That means priority #1. If I extend that thought a little futher, that means if all other things in life fail (such as broken relationships, loss of health, financial losses, loss of reputation etc.) I am called to still love God because that’s a command! Sounds harsh huh? But wait!!!! This command is not something that should be against my will…i am to be love/obey God with my heart/soul/mind. Wow. It is my goal to have my purpose driven life to love God.

Trader Joe’s

food / life / what happened

I love Trader Joe’s.  In fact, if it was a girl, I would marry her.  I’m so in love I drove one hour to meet her!

This is the Trader Joe’s in Santa Fe:

I bought $80 worth of groceries, mostly consisting of snacks and cereal! STICKS AND TWIGS FOR YOU!! ;)
But thank goodness….there’s a new one opening on March 10th, which is much closer to me (10 min drive?).  I went to the new store to take a peek:

Hmmm..maybe I should fill in an application and work there for the night shift! =)
